a story of an accidental author.

In the summer of 2016,  I was a lawyer working for a private foundation and deeply dissatisfied with my career. But, I never considered leaving it.  You see,

I am, nothin if not, a dutiful daughter. My parents immigrated to the United States when I was 7 years old and sacrificed a lot to make sure my sisters and I had every advantage.

Part of the homage I've paid to their bravery and selflessness was to do what they expected.  I followed my mother's footsteps and went to law school, did well and started my career. I never loved the work, but it was all I knew.

I've always been an avid reader in 2015 I found a book blog that introduced me to the new wave of contemporary romance that was modern, exciting and compelling.  I devoured all of it...and rekindled my child hood dream of writing a book.

I never imagined I could do it, but as my 40th birthday was approaching, a friend encouraged me to go for it. So, I wrote Rise, and published it on my 40th birthday.  And it transformed my life!  Here I am three years later with ten books written, 7 of them published, and a readership that gives me so much joy I can't begin to thank them for it.

I write stories centered on characters that inspire me. My characters are regular people who rise to the occasion of their lives in extraordinary ways. I don't write any particular trope, but every single story will leave you feeling like love can do anything - because I believe that it can.

If you have a dream, it's never too late! I'm living proof of that.

It's so nice to meet you.
